About

Current Project: News Feed

About my current project, News Feed.
This takes me back several decades, to a time when i worked nights rolling, sleeving and delivering news papers for a contractor of the Belleville News Democrat.
I think of the smell of fresh coffee, fresh news print, and reading the day's events staying anchored in time to the small world around me.
For a while now, I have had a hard time finding simple, basic news that is easy to read and in order of time. It seems algorithms and efficiency rule the feeds, as reordering feeds by time would be costly for most social news sites or feeds.
My goal became to create a simple news index or feed with an option to reorder all the “to date” posts by date published.
